Lisa Balsera , VP Sales
Lisa Balsera has worked in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry for the past 9 years. She has served in several management roles and supervised teams in Sales management and merchandising. She began her professional career at Eckerd Corporation. With a particularly strong background in business analytics, Lisa immediately added value to Eckerd as a business analyst. She quickly progressed through the organization and was promoted to the position of Category Manager. Among her favorite categories were Eckerd’s Photography and Electronics businesses. While overseeing those multi million dollar categories, Lisa developed many strategic alliances. Those alliances included strategic relationships with Kodak, Fuji, Olympus, Memorex, Sony and several other key suppliers in consumer electronics. The nature of these interactions in these businesses required not only a merchant but a keen salesperson as well. Ms. Balsera proved up to the challenge.
Lisa’s experience also includes sourcing large quantities of products internationally. International sourcing requires multiple procurement trips to Asia to qualify and purchase from factories in those countries. Here again superior selling skills were developed to create the best possible scenario for her employer.
Lisa’s next experience was as Vice President of International Business Developmemt for the trade event marketing group, ECRM. There, Lisa continued to forge new relationships with international customers while relying on her merchandising and selling background to build new business. Through this experience Lisa cultivated business solutions with many of the most well known retailers in the marketplace to include Walgreen’s, CVS, Wal-Mart, Target, HEB and many more. As the leader of this business Lisa was responsible for not only overall Sales but for the management of events on 4 continents. Such activity requires an executive with superior project management, selling, follow up and execution skills. It is in these area’s that Lisa enjoys a proven track record.
Lisa grew up in the United Kingdom. She ventured to the USA at the young age of 14 for study to be a professional tennis player. At 14, this took a particularly mature person and one who possessed a will to win. Spending her teenage years in the U.S. at the Nick Bollettieri's tennis academy provided many valuable life’s lessons. Among those is her ambitious nature, communication skills and the ability to identify the correct strategies to employ against business issues. She holds two BA's with honors in psychology and communication and an MBA from The University of South Florida.
Lisa maintains her tennis game and also loves to travel whenever possible with her family.
